Of his many recognition’s, we highlight him being 13th Internationally for School Based Enterprises through DECA along with earning the Premier Distinction achievement level through the National Speech and Debate Association – an honor only achieved by 3% of the lifetime members of that organization. Tanish plans on majoring in Computer Science to continue his passion towards machine learning – something he has demonstrated already through his development of an AI in the 7th grade.

Graciela Garcia

Graciela is ranked 3rd in her graduating class at Grand Prairie’s Fine Arts Academy. Honoring her grandmother, she desires to study public policy and immigration law to advocate for those in need. As impressive, Graciela started her school’s chapter of LULAC – paving the way for her to be elected State Youth President in June 2025.

Pragathi Prakash

Pragathi, who is committed to attending John Hopkins University, is currently ranked 1st in her graduating class at Dubiski Career High School. She plans on studying biomedical engineering so that she can design technologies that restore mobility and opportunities to underserved communities – something she has already been doing in her free time by developing a device called EchoPin that alerts blind people of obstacles to prevent head injuries. Pragathi also serves as DECA President for her school and is a SkillsUSA Texas officer – representing thousands of her peers statewide.

Lee Kerk

Lee, ranked 2nd in his graduating class of 387 students at Seguin High School, plans on pursuing a career in Biomedical Engineering in order to design equitable medical technologies – like the one he already has co-engineered named “TruOxi” – a prototype LED that aims to correct racial bias in pulse oximeters. Through his direction, Lee has utilized data-driven initiatives to support chronic illness patients in the area. While he is not shadowing at a nanomedicine lab, Lee is the Concertmaster of his Symphonic Orchestra and Vice President of this Key Club.

Yasmine Bouayad Agha

Presently 1st in her graduating class at Seguin High School, Yasmine’s resume reads like that of someone ending their career – not beginning it. She co-founded the Conservation of Forest Organization – coordinating over 500 volunteers in biodiversity education and local improvement projects – and actively volunteers with the Algerian Red Crescent – specifically to improve the quality of life for all those around her community. Yasmine has also spent multiple years as a Student Researcher in Ireland and as a Clinical Training Intern at a Neurology Clinic in Algeria.

Sumaiyah Siddique

Currently ranked 3rd in her graduating class at Dubiski Career High School, Sumaiyah plans on majoring in Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis. Her resume exemplifies a dedication to serving her community through school clubs (Student Leadership Team, Skills USA, and others) as well as outside school such as Debes Career En Ti – which helps non-English learners become more proficient with English fluency.  Sumaiyah was selected twice to emcee the Mid-Autumn Festival at Asia Times Square where she led and prepared her classmates through the events, ensuring success for all. Sumaiyah clearly embodies compassion towards others at every opportunity – as her participation in the Student Ambassadors of the Grand Prairie ISD’s Justice, Equity and Inclusion Task Force illustrates.
